More than 120 years ago, Denmark’s first business college outside Copenhagen was founded in Odense. In 1954, the city’s three business and commercial schools merged into one college, which was named TietgenSkolen (Tietgen Business College) after C.F. Tietgen (1829-1901), a fellow townsman and an outstanding businessman in Denmark.
